Allegro high bandwidth linear Hall-effect current sensor ICs have been designed to meet the high bandwidth and high accuracy requirements of HEV inverter applications. These devices are Allegro factory programmed over temperature to optimize the device performance over the operating temperature range. Analog signal path at 120 KHz bandwidth and less than 4 uS response time provide over-current and short circuit protection of IGBT switches in the inverter.
