Allegro MicroSystems extends its commitment to the environment by encouraging its employees to be environment-aware in their business activities, and to participate in volunteer and community efforts that improve the local environment.
Earth Day
Allegro participates in the international celebration of Earth Day each spring. Information is provided to our employees and a day of environmental clean-up attracts employees and their families in an activity that not only improves the local environment, but also helps the next generation become aware of our environmental responsibilities.
Every Day
To help reduce the use of fossil fuels, Allegro supports employee ride-sharing by helping employees connect with each other and providing preferred parking. Resource conservation is also practiced through widespread distribution of recycling bins for various paper types, collection of depleted printer cartridges for recycling, and informational displays.
