ASEK-01: Allegro Sensor Evaluation Kit
Bill-of-materials (PDF), Schematics (PDF)
The ASEK (Allegro Sensors Evaluation Kit) is used for programming
supported Allegro Hall effect devices. It consists of the ASEK Programming
Board, control software, and an optional Calibration Board (which also
uses the ASEK software).
These tools allow the programming of the following Allegro devices:
- A118x: Two-Wire,
Programmable, Chopper-Stabilized, Unipolar Hall-Effect Switch
- A138x: Programmable
Linear Hall Effect Sensor ICs with Analog Output Available in a Miniature
Thin Profile Surface Mount Package
- A325x: Open-collector
unipolar Hall-effect switch with programmable operate point
- A1373 and A1374:
Very accurate linear Hall-effect sensor IC with programmable quiescent
voltage output, sensitivity, and temperature coefficient
- ATS635/6: Back-biased
unipolar Hall-effect switch
The ASEK is intended for demonstration purposes only. The boards
and software should only be used for very low volume, manual production
or engineering evaluations.
Requirements for installation and operation
- Microsoft® Windows® 2000, SP3 recommended; operational
compatibility with Windows 98 and XP but not tested
- RS-232C interface cable (male DB9 to female DB9)
- Linear programmable power supply (+32 V, -5 V available)
