Three-Wire Hall-Effect Switches

Three-Wire Hall-effect switches are most commonly used in sensing absolute position or proximity. They are referred to 3-Wire because they utilize three pins: Supply, ground, and a voltage output. These contactless sensing solutions require few external components and can withstand the hostile operating conditions of automotive applications. Typical applications include: shift selectors, wiper end/home position, door ajar/open, user interfaces and vane-interrupt systems.
