A8483: 1.2 MHz Step-up Converter for Display Bias Supply

The A8483 is a simple five-pin 1.2 MHz current-mode step-up dc-to-dc converter. It includes an integrated 36 V FET and comes in a small 3 x 3 mm 10-lead thermally enhanced MLP/TDFN lead- (Pb) free package. It can be used in many applications (see datasheet circuits). For example, it delivers 15 V at 15 mA with 2.7 V input. Input voltage can range from 2.5 V to 10 V when connected directly to a battery or input rail. Output voltage can be set up to 35 V. Smaller external components and the integrated switch reduce component count and footprint for a variety of applications.
