Improve driver safety with Allegro solutions for Heads-up Displays (HUDs). Instrumental components in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), HUDs provide drivers with information such as speed, RPMs, temperature, navigation, and environmental alerts.

A HUD is only as good as its image quality, and mirror control is critical to maintaining quality of the HUD image. Allegro microstepping stepper motor drivers with advanced QuietStepTM technology help provide a stable, higher-quality image by minimizing vibrations and smoothing motion control via reduced torque ripple and current distortion. QuietStep adjusts the amount of fast decay during a PWM cycle on-the-fly to keep current ripple at a low level over the various operating conditions. This adaptive feature improves system performance, resulting in reduced audible motor noise, reduced vibration, and increased step accuracy.

We also offer a variety of highly integrated LED drivers for backlighting to match your requirements for input voltage range, number of LEDs per string, number of strings and LED current. Our LED drivers lead the industry in reliability and robustness, with AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualification, operation to 150°C, protection against pin-to-pin shorts and open/shorted external components, and built-in fault diagnostic capabilities.
