Typical Applications

The APS12203 Hall-effect latch sensors are AEC-Q100 qualified for high-voltage automotive and industrial applications. These ICs are temperature-stable and offer precision performance over an extended junction temperature range up to 165°C. This family of Hall-effect latches provides contactless sensing of magnetic fields and an open drain output that actuates in response to the detected filed strength at the branded package face. A wide range of available models allows for the selection of devices capable of responding to magnetic fields of varying strengths. In addition, the APS12203 is designed to maximize system robustness with features that include reverse-battery protection, an output current limiter, and overvoltage protection.
