The ASEK-30 programmer is an interface between a PC and an Allegro sensor IC. Allegro provided GUI’s and DLL’s facilitate easy access to the sensor enabling reading from, writing to, and measuring the sensor for calibration in the application.

Description

Top Features

The ASEK-30 programmer enables in-circuit programming of Allegro sensor IC’s. Utilizing an Allegro-provided graphical user interface (GUI) the user can quickly start to evaluate and program the sensor. Hardware connections are performed using optional boards that contain sockets or soldered ICs.

For production scenarios Allegro provides a Windows DLL which contains all the required commands needed to configure and test the sensor. This DLL can be called by software written in .Net, Labview, C/C++ and more facilitating easier and faster integration via reduced software development time.

Connection to the end application is via the 50-pin locking header which enables custom cables to be created to interface to automated test equipment. Connection between the PC and ASEK-30 is performed via the USB-C port. Power to the ASEK-30 is provided by an included 5V AC/DC universal power supply.
