Allegro MicroSystems recommends APS12400 for all new Automotive 2-wire Hall-Effect latch IC designs. The A1244 is a two-wire Hall-effect latch utilizing patented 4-phase chopper stabilization for magnetic stability and offset elimination. Ideal for cost-sensitive applications, it provides inherent diagnostics via output current ranges, and latches high with a south pole until a north pole is present.
