The ACS37220 is a high-power-density 200A, 150kHz magnetic current sensor for applications requiring an isolation voltage below 100V. This device is designed to replace high-power sense resistors with a solution that achieves lower resistance, a smaller footprint and simpler integration. The ACS37220 measures currents up to 200A and includes overcurrent fault output with user-configurable threshold to provide fast short-circuit detection for enhanced system protection.

The ACS37220 is offered in the EZ 4x4mm QFN package that features a low internal conductor resistance of 100 μΩ for low power loss and high inrush current withstand capability. This package is designed to measure currents up to 200A. The current is sensed differentially via two Hall plates that provide common-mode field rejection and optimized performance in the presence of external magnetic fields.

The ACS37220 is ideal for low voltage (< 100V), high current monitoring applications and in-line current sensing in motor drives.
